Introduction

Our 12 days Everest Base Camp Trek (EBC Trek) Itinerary begins from Kathmandu. You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and drive to Kathmandu Domestic Airport. Traffic is free in the morning so we can reach the airport within 15 mins by private vehicle. Today, we will be flying to Lukla. Generally, Lukla is the beginning point for Everest Base Camp Trek which is approached by every trekker. You will be surprised by knowing this that Lukla is one of the 10 most dangerous airports in the world. Meanwhile, its one the best opportunity to observe the aerial view of giant snow-capped Himalayas. Basically, flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes just 25 mins only. Arrival at Lukla and starts our trek to Everest Base Camp.

World famous Everest Base Camp Trekking Route is an ideal chance to see probably the most stunning views of the world's tallest mountains. The trek provides a peek into the Sherpas Village, their culture, and lifestyle, face to face opportunity to view the Mount Everest and beautiful natural flora and fauna.

The first best month of the year to attend Everest Base Camp Trek commence from March till May and the second, as well as peak season to trek in Everest Base Camp, begins from September till December. During these months, the weather will be clear and flight cancellation chances to Lukla is rare. You will get the lifetime opportunity to explore the breathtaking mountains in Sagarmatha National Park.

Itinerary

Our 12 days Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary begins by flying from Kathmandu to Lukla - 25 mins flight. After successfully landed at Lukla, prepare yourself to commence first hiking of the day up to Phakding. Your average walking for this trek will be 6/7 hours per day and gradually gain the altitude. We need to halt one extra day at Namche Bazar and Dingboche Village for acclimatization. This will help to keep away the altitude sickness. After hiking for 8 days, you will be reached at Everest Base Camp - our main destination of the package. Observing face to face with the world's highest mountain - Mt. Everest, trek down to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2610mtrs/8563ft).

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft)

Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Trek to Tengboche(3860m/12664ft).

Day 05: Trek to Dingboche(4410m/14468ft).

Day 06: Acclimatization day at Dingboche.

Day 07: Trek to Lobuje(4910m/16108ft).

Day 08: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5363m/17595ft) and back to Gorekshep(5153m/16906ft).

Day 09: Hiking up Kalapathar(5545m/18192ft) and overnight at Pheriche(4210m/13812ft).

Day 10: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft).

Day 11: Trek down to Lukla (2804m/8490ft).

Day 12: An early morning flight back to Kathmandu.

Cost Includes

  1. All the ground transportation by our private car.
  2. Meals on full board (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the trek.
  3. All accommodations in lodges/tea houses during the treks.
  4. Domestic flight both ways from Kathmandu/ Lukla/ Kathmandu with airport tax.
  5. An experienced Government licensed holder guide and porter and their food, drinks, insurance, salary, equipment, transportation, local tax etc.
  6. All necessary paper works and national park entry permits & TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System)

Equipments List

  1. Gloves with a waterproof shell outer.
  2. Down Jacket.
  3. Fleece or wool trousers/pants.
  4. Trekking boots with spare laces.
  5. Thick, warm wool hiking socks (4).
  6. Footwear for around tea house, eg running shoes and/or sandals.
  7. Trekking Sticks.
